The area of the Bear Creek showing is underlain by rocks of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group. Samples of material from pyritic volcaniclastic rock yielded 0.14 and 0.18 gram per tonne (Samples 32773 and 32774, Assessment Report 21061).
